Kimura Glass Asia delivers the items from Japan and we charge the items purchased and the shipping cost only, which the custom duties or VAT (where applicable) will be invoiced to you directly from the delivering company.
We advise you to contact your local customs authority as the custom rate depends on the nation to be landed if it occurs.
For example, the custom rate would be around 20% of your glassware purchase in United States, EU, Australia, Thailand, China, while no duties in Singapore and Hong Kong. There is a process on the product, or slight variations in shape, color, dimensions, etc., unavoidably, small bubbles and contamination, no quality problems. Please be forewarned.
During all handmade process, we might see some slight variations in shape, color, or dimensions, as well as unavoidably small bubbles or contamination, please let us forewarned that there are no quality problems and hopefully we would consider it as its charm and original.
The prices are excluded shipping cost, customs duty, and additional tax or expense.
For your purchase process, after we receive your order, we would check the updated inventory for you and send you a PayPal invoice after calculating the shipping cost after your order.
Then we will ship it to your address after confirming your payment.
Some glasses are custom-made products, which it would take up to 3 months from order confirmation to delivery.

About handling the Kimura glass
Each piece may look slightly different because this product is handmade. Our delicate products are not suitable for microwave, electric or gas oven, direct fire, and dishwasher. For cleaning, please use neutral detergent. Sponges with the polishing material, cleanser, hard scourers may cause scratches and damage on the surface of glassware. For storage, please do not pile them on top of each other. After washing, please wipe it up immediately. Otherwise, white marks may appear due to the calcium contained in the water. Please avoid pressuring, sudden heating or cooling which may cause damages and breaks.
We can deliver our products to Asia, Oceania, North, Central and South America, Middle East, Europe, Africa via DHL or EMS.
- Please be noted that some countries cannot be shipped due to COVID-19 pandemic situation.

The currency is either USD or Japanese yen.
Payment deadline is stated within three days from order. Please also be reminded that if we cannot confirm the receipt of your payment three days after the above e-mail is sent, your order shall be automatically canceled.
Return & Refunds
If there are some issues for damages or mistakes upon delivery, we would receive your requests for exchanges or returns. Please kindly let us know within seven days after delivery. Our company bear the return fee. However, we will not be able to accept any exchanges or returns because of the customers’ personal preferences.

Procedure for the compensation of damaged Items
As our products are thin and delicate which are easily breakable, please kindly check its condition upon its arrival. We do our best with the packaging to prevent it from damage, however in any case if you find it damaged during delivery, please kindly contact us immediately.
Please refer to the step as belows, and contact us within seven days after its arrival. We will not be able to accept your notice after the compensation period, We kindly ask for your understanding.
- Please take photos of the damaged item, as well as the outer and inner boxes of the package. Please also keep it all including packing materials without discarding them.
- Please send us the pictures stated in no.1 and the name, quantity and product code.
- Please visit the nearest post office directly with the outer box, inner box, damaged goods, packaging materials and invoice (show the EMS receipt if you don’t have invoice) to ask for a damage report and ” Transfer of right to indemnity for loss and refund of postage ” at the nearest post office. Take a picture of the two documents and save the image.
- Send the photos stated in no.4 to Kimura Glass Asia. After receiving the photo, we will be able to quickly proceed with the insurance coverage procedure at Japan Post.
- We will resend you the replaced goods as soon as possible if we have it in stock. If we do not have it, we will refund you the payment of the product.
